PLYMOUTH HARBORA Day Program for Older Adults
BE A PILGRIM
Come to Plymouth Harbor, where you will get support to continue living at home, where friends care that you continue doing well, where caregivers can get some time away. Our purpose is to maintain and strengthen the abilities of older adults and to provide support to caregivers.
THE PROGRAM
Plymouth Harbor meets every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It features:
- Companionship - Plymouth Harbor folk are friendly, loving and caring. Your welcome is assured.
- Assistance - Director Helen Fredrick, LCSW, and the staff, assisted by trained volunteers, are ready, willing, and able to offer the assistance that is needed and to support you however we can.
- Opportunities - Participants are provided opportunities to talk about the news, to create, to exercise their minds and bodies. Caregivers are provided an opportunity to take some time for themselves, to have a "day off." Additionally, a Support Group is held on the first and third Thursdays from 10:30 -12, led by a certified counselor.
- Nourishment - Snacks and a well-balanced, complete meal are served each day, providing nourishment for body and soul. Meals are prepared by our own on-site cook.
